David was like a big brother to me. When he started dating Carleen he would load me in his giant purple and white Oldsmobile and take me to Macdonalds or AL’s French fries. I was always the third wheel but he never complained. He was concerned for me.We shared a love for cars.he would fix my junk and in addition he was a good car painter. The guy could fix anything.
Not many people know that David was a water witch.Iwathed him carry his stick around and it would bend when he found a well.
I will misss sitting with him and talking about the past and him sharing his wisdom. His fantastic children are a tribute to his skill as a father and mentor.Him and Carleen were in Love. I wish I could have that as long as they did.He was stubborn till the end cheating death for many years. He is smiling down on his family .i am truely blessed to have known him

Dear Landry family. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one, David. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and also at Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all of the many causes we have for suffering including sickness, pain and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts from the Bible will likewise comfort your family and will also ease some of your pain during this most difficult time in your lives.
